Netherlands-based marketing and advisory firm SMARAGD has started a global fundraising campaign to train people in Rwanda and Rwandese who live abroad.
In order to facilitate the efficient transfer of money, over 500,000 people in Rwanda will need to go through entry-level computer training, so they can start using the internet, communication, e-banking and e-payment systems.
Organizations who wish to sponsor these training sessions are now invited to respond, which will strongly support social-& economic development in Rwanda.
The sponsoring organizations will enable a person to:
• work with a computer,
• receive (international) transfer of money,
• search on the internet to find information,
• send mail to family and friends,
• call family and friends using internet phone,
• start using distance learning with a computer
This will significantly lower cost and improve the quality of daily life for all training registrants, and the sponsoring organizations help achieving this!
