iOS 201 Deployment & Mangagement, is an advanced hands-on training course that provides technical coordinators and system administrators with the skills, tools and knowledge to deploy and maintain iOS based devices and provision in-house developed apps. Delegates will learn how to utilise iTunes for activation, backup/restore and updating. They will discuss, compare and utilise the different methods of creating and deploying iOS Configuration Profiles.
In addition, how to integrate iOS based devices effectively into a Microsoft Exchange® network using Exchange ActiveSync® is covered and lastly, how to configure and utilise a Mobile Device Management server.
This training is taught by an Apple Certified Trainer, how-ever it is not part of Apple's Certification program.
Each participant is required to bring their own iOS device that can be erased and reinstalled during the class.
Delegates should have a good understanding of system administration and iOS, some experience with OS X Server or Microsoft Exchange Server and experience using iOS based devices is prefered.
Delegates who have attended iOS 101 Support Essentials, are also qualified to attend.
