Thought leaders gather to address process safety issues
in frequently dangerous Oil and Gas industry

Aberdeen, UK – With recent headlines driving home the hazards to personnel and costs to business of poor safety standards, it is no wonder that the annual HSE, Risk Management and Process Safety (www.iqpc.com/uk/hse) event in Aberdeen is drawing in record crowds for their event in February.

eVision is proud to be sponsoring this event with product manager Neil Currie speaking alongside Ronald Pijtak, HSE/Q Manager for Venture Production. eVision’s extensive knowledge of operational safety systems has made them one of the leaders in organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Neil Currie: “Where in the past increasing safety and reducing operational cost where seen as mutually exclusive, especially in hazardous industries like the E&P, our case study outlines a new approach. We will look closely at hazardous worksite management and the challenges the industry faces herein. Problems, mistakes and erroneous methods currently in use will pass the review, after which the solution will be presented by means of a real-live case study by Ronald Pijtak, HSEQ Manager of Venture Production”

Their presentation entitled “Permit to work system integrated with risk assessment and isolation management as a single safe system of work” is one of 10 case studies that will offer practical solutions for organisations looking to both protect their personnel and preserve their bottom line.
